NASHVILLE, TN (August 29th, 2025): Kentucky Native JD Shelburne announces release date of his forthcoming NEW ALBUM “Raised On The Good Stuff”!
On the heels of a breakthrough year, JD Shelburne has announced the long-anticipated release of his seventh studio album, “Raised On The Good Stuff” set for Friday November 14, 2025.
The album sees the Kentucky-born star at his vocal best in service to ten songs and a bonus track penned by some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths.
“I knew we’d have to work extra hard to put out an album that takes my career another step forward,” he says, “and thanks to the great team of musicians, songwriters, and studio aces I’ve got around me, we were able to do just that. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve done.” – JD Shelburne
Raised On The Good Stuff takes everything JD does well to the next level, beginning with its leadoff single, “Summertime All Year,” which became an immediate crowd favorite. Other standouts include three songs co-written by JD’s friend and frequent collaborator Mark Nesler—“Backroad Kinda Love,” “Forever,” and “Break Up With Me”— as well as the title track, one of three songs (including the bonus track) that showcase JD’s own songwriting talents. All together, the project captures the energy and believability that have given him one of country music’s most loyal fan bases.
“My dreams have been coming true thanks to the greatest fans anywhere,” he says. “They got to know me when I was playing tiny venues, and they’re with me now that I’m also playing on some of the biggest stages in the world. I’m so glad they’re taking this journey with me, and I’m hoping this record will bring even more people into this musical family.”
Raised On The Good Stuff caps a period of professional accomplishments that are the stuff of dreams. Topping the list is JD’s 2025 debut appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, a night he terms “unforgettable, something I’ve been looking forward to my entire career.” He has also been featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Songwriter Sessions at the Ford Theater and seen the release of his Signature Series Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Both followed on the heels of his collaboration with The Oak Ridge Boys on stage and on his previous album, Neon Hallelujah, which included his #1 CMT video “Cars & Trucks.”
JD has made his way to the iTunes Country Top Ten and been featured on CMT and the Circle Network thanks to fan favorites like “Church Pew Barstool” and “Hometown In My Headlights.” He has opened for ZZ Top, Clay Walker, Marty Stuart, and many others, has sung the national anthem at NBA, College Sporting events, NASCAR and major league baseball games, and has been featured on the cover of Kentucky’s Official Visitor’s Guide.
