SHELBYVILLE , KY (June 23, 2026) — Kentucky country music artist JD Shelburne was honored to headline the recent Fire Missions Veterans Service fundraising event at Gallrein Farms, an evening that brought together veterans, supporters, community leaders, and music fans for a cause that made a lasting impact. This event took place on Saturday, June 13th in Shelbyville, KY.

The event welcomed approximately 700 attendees to Gallrein Farms and raised an impressive $42,000 in support of Fire Missions Veterans Services. After event expenses, they will be able to help sustain the organization’s services going into this year and their mission of helping veterans.

Brady Wright, creator and organizer of the event, praised the overwhelming community support and the success of the evening.

“It was an amazing show! Thank you and your entire team for an amazing evening,” Wright said. “Everyone has been talking about what an amazing time it was and how much they enjoyed it. The charity ended up raising several thousand dollars from the event with sponsors, the guitar JD signed and donated and ticket sales, which will help us continue serving veterans over the coming months. We had around 700 people attend, and the support from the community was incredible. ”

The event showcased the power of community partnerships, with special recognition given to sponsors including Pro Print Signs, ShelbyKY Tourism, Last Stop Brewing Company, and the many other businesses and organizations that generously supported the fundraiser. Also thanks to our personal friends at Chris Smitha Barns.

Organizers also extended their appreciation to the numerous veteran organizations that attended and helped make the event a meaningful celebration of service, sacrifice, and community. Also, a special shout-out to the Louisville School of Rock for opening the show with energy and great songs!

JD Shelburne expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of an event dedicated to supporting those who have served our country.

“It’s always an honor to perform for our veterans and their families,” Shelburne said. “The turnout, generosity, and support shown by everyone in attendance was truly inspiring. Thank you to Fire Missions Veterans Service, Brady Wright, the sponsors, volunteers, veteran organizations, and every person who purchased a ticket, donated, or simply showed up to support our heroes.”

Looking ahead, Fire Missions Veterans Service plans to begin forming a planning committee in September to prepare for an even bigger event in 2027. Organizers hope to build on this year’s momentum and continue growing support for veterans throughout the region.
