NASHVILLE, Tn (July 5th, 2025): Taylorsville, Kentucky Native JD Shelburne fulfilled a lifelong dream this past Saturday, as he made hisOfficial Grand Ole Opry Debut. It was a moment that will be etched into his memory forever. Shelburne surrounded by his family and friends backstage, took the stage at 7:15pm after being introduced by Country Music Legend and friend Steve Wariner. Shelburne walked on the stage to step into the circle to a room full of energetic and loyal fans of his.
“I have never in my life been so nervous to perform and anxious to reach that circle. I have spent my whole career wondering what it would be like to step into the circle as a part of the Opry family. I must say, I hope this feeling never fades. I am forever grateful for the invitation. I will cherish this moment forever.” says, Shelburne on a phone interview the following day.
It was certainly a huge response for Shelburne who performed his songs “Summertime All Year” and his #1 CMT hit “Church Pew Barstool” in the hallowed circle. Additional performers on the show night included John Conlee, Crystal Gayle, Gary Mule Deer, Steve Wariner and more. We thank all our family, friends and fans for making the trip to Nashville to support the debut of JD Shelburne. We can’t wait until the next opportunity to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
