NASHVILLE, Tenn. — September 13, 2026 — JD Shelburne brought the Find Me a Freeway Tour through Kentucky this past weekend, delivering back-to-back performances in Middletown and Lawrenceburg that showcased the singer-songwriter’s deep connection with his home state and the fans who have supported him throughout his career.

The weekend kicked off Friday night at the 54th Annual Middletown Fun Fest, where Shelburne performed an intimate three-piece show for a crowd of longtime supporters and new fans alike.

“Thank you, Middletown, Kentucky,” Shelburne said following the performance. “It was a very intimate evening at the 54th Middletown Fun Fest. Thank you to our fans and all those new folks who spent the evening with us at our three-piece show.”

The tour continued Saturday night in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, where Shelburne headlined the Annual Stave Fest at Century Bank Park. Performing for a hometown crowd that has embraced him throughout the years, Shelburne delivered another energetic performance while celebrating his longstanding relationship with the community.

“This town has been so good to me,” Shelburne said. “I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support you continue to show me.”

The Lawrenceburg evening became an especially memorable milestone when Shelburne was presented with the Key to the City by Mayor Troy Young and Former Anderson Country Basketball Coach Glenn Drury.

The honor served as a powerful reminder of the connection Shelburne has built with Kentucky communities throughout his touring career. From small-town festivals to major stages, Shelburne has made a point of staying connected with the fans who have helped fuel his journey.

“Moments like this mean more than I can put into words,” Shelburne said. “Thank you, Lawrenceburg, for believing in me, supporting my music, and making me feel like part of your community.”

With two successful festival appearances in one weekend, the Find Me a Freeway Tour continues to build momentum as Shelburne takes his music to communities throughout Kentucky and beyond.

“Thank you to every single fan who came out, sang along, and supported us,” Shelburne said. “We’re so grateful for you, and we can’t wait to see you down the road. Thank you, Kentucky. Let’s keep this tour rolling!”
