NASHVILLE, Tn (June 6, 2026): Newsletter.
| First off, thank you for continuing to support the music, the shows, and everything we’re building together. It’s because of you that we keep reaching new milestones, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We have started off 2026 with a bang: a schedule full of dates, new bourbon, new merch and more! We’ve had an incredible start to the year, French Lick Casino opening for David Lee Murphy, 3-nights at Gilley’s Dancehall in Las Vegas, Partytown Country Throwdown at Turfway Park, Rough River Summer Concert series, and a sold-out show at Nashville’s historic Bluebird Cafe. We have also performed several private events for clients and attended our 12th Kentucky Derby with a performance at Unbridled Eve, which hosted us for the 10th straight year! I walked the official red carpet on Derby Day and spent time with my wife watching the greatest 2 minutes in sports! I also was an invited guest on the Governor of Kentucky’s Podcast, heard on Sirius XM, where we talked about my journey from rural Kentucky to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry! Watch it here. Seeing fans travel from all across the country to be part of these shows still excites me after all these years. A special thank you to all of you who follow us each day and weekend. As we move into the heat of summer, we’re hitting the road on our Find Me A Freeway Tour and bringing the music to cities across the region. Be sure to check the tour schedule regularly because we’re adding dates and making plans for some exciting events still to come. Whether it’s a festival, theater, fair, or intimate songwriter show, I can’t wait to see you out there. – JD Shelburne |
