NASHVILLE, Tn (July 13, 2026): The countdown is on! In just two weeks, JD Shelburne will be releasing his brand-new music video for “Break Up With Me,” and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with all of you.
Filmed in Nashville, Tennessee, the video was beautifully brought to life by the talented team at Stormlight Pictures. It’s always exciting to create new music and visuals, and we are thrilled to be releasing a brand-new video in 2026.
Even more exciting, we’re hopeful that “Break Up With Me” will become his tenth consecutive music video to air on CMT and other networks. That milestone wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the music teams and the fans over the years.
“Featured on the Raised on the Good Stuff album, “Break Up With Me” explores the emotional aftermath of a relationship coming to an end. The song captures the heartbreak, longing, and desire for closure that so many people experience after a breakup, making it a truly relatable country song. It’s been on of the most popular song on my latest project, so I knew I had to shoot a video for this one!”
The track was written by the incredible songwriting team of Mark Nesler, Wendell Mobley, and the late Andrew Dorff, whose heartfelt lyrics and storytelling shine throughout the song.
